There is a Song, commonly sung in the 77 Days of Glory that I love. Part of it goes:
“ You won’t leave here ( The Presence of God )the same way you came; for The Holy Ghost of Acts is still the same”…. How profound. How Prophetic.
From September 18th last year, the Holy Spirit has continued to draw people from all corners of the earth, simply by Manifesting His Power and Presence in one Place, The Miracle Centre Cathedral at Rubaga. We have seen various tribes, nations and tongues come; from all walks of life. In this unprecedented Move of God, multitudes have given their lives to Jesus Christ and been baptized, the greatest miracle of all. Age old witchcraft practices have been denounced. Thousands have been healed and delivered from the affliction of the enemy. Testimonies abound, with The Holy Spirit touching every area of people’s lives: physical, mental, emotional, social and financial.
During the first fifteen (15) days of Phase 4, many healing miracles touched me in a special way. I will share only two in this article. Being a Medical Doctor by profession, Healing Miracles mean a lot to me.
One of the reasons for this, among others, is because I have a good understanding of the gravity of various illnesses and how they affect the patient and their loved ones. I was present the evening that Damalie Kayanja first attended the 77 Days of Glory. She was clearly a patient on the brink of death. We were told that she had throat cancer which had spread throughout her body.
Leading Specialists in India, the family’s last resort, felt they couldn’t do much and sent her back home to die. I was moved by the Faith and Love of her husband. He wasn’t about to lose his wife. He believed The Report of her Maker. We know that God answers prayer. However, I believe that there are certain kinds of prayer that access the realm of the impossible.
This was the kind of prayer which Pastor Robert Kayanja prayed for Damalie that day: a heartfelt prayer; a prayer full of compassion, a prayer for which a denial was not an option (see picture on the Robert Kayanja Ministries facebook page, May 15th 12:04am). When I saw her come to testify about her progressive healing recently, I couldn’t recognize her: beautiful, full of life, singing praises to her Healer. With God All things are possible.
Stephanie, a young lady, probably in her early twenties, came all the way from Rome, Italy, with her mother. She was battling Bipolar Depression and long standing back pain, for which she needed to wear a corset. She was touched by the Power of God, the very first night of her attendance and healed of the back condition.
She left the corset at The Altar. It came to light later that she was also addicted to drugs and cigarettes. Her mother reported how she had attempted suicide several times, including trying to jump off a bridge. She also slashed her wrists habitually.
Stephanie’s cry for help was clear, repetitive and desperate; that God would heal her of the Bipolar Depression, the addictions and help her “stop hating herself”. I felt a holy anger rise up in me. Why would such a beautiful young girl hate herself? The devil is a liar; he is defeated (diavolo sei sconfito). Stop molesting God’s people. La Vittoria apartiene solo a Jesu Cristo.
Victory belongs only to Jesus Christ. Pastor assured her that she would be totally healed and delivered. He encouraged her to serve God. I have no doubt that she’ll coordinate or conduct a Healing Crusade in Rome in the very near future. I’ll be among the first people on that flight to Fiumicino (Leonardo da Vinci) Airport.
The Proclaim Worship Experience was awesome; children and teenagers leading us, loving their God in praise and worship. I reflected on the gifting, talents and anointing of these young ones, the future of our nation. I had to ask who the little girl with pony tails was.
She led a song “You are God, You are Holy” and I knew the Heavens were open. Joyce Nankabirwa, I’m told. Watch that space. John Mark Kimuli, on the saxophone; reminding me of the Anointing of David, who would play the harp and deliver Saul of a tormenting spirit. Mitchell Katumwa, following in his parent’s musical footsteps, and many others.
It would be unfair for me to complete this article without mentioning the “Victors Crown “night. I can’t immediately recall which day of phase 4 it was. Pastor, under the inspiration of The Holy Spirit, asked (the Chior) Sheila, Carol, Brian and Hadijah to lead us in this Darlene Zschech Classic. Each one of them did what they know how to do best. The minstrels did the same. Something broke loose. The congregation went beserk. I mean crazy in The Holy Ghost. We sung, clapped, danced, shouted, jumped, name it. I have never experienced such free worship in my life, before or since. All I know is that something happened. Undeniable. Unstoppable. Irreversible.
“In the 77 Days of Glory, anything can happen, any time, any moment”. I have seen it. I have heard it. I am living it.
